Please sign our petition in support of the seasonal closure of Casa Beach during the harbor seal pupping season.

“I support closing Casa Beach/Children’s Pool in La Jolla, California, during the harbor seal pupping season, December 15 to May 15 annually, as approved by the San Diego City Council on February 24, 2014; and as unanimously supported by the California Coastal Commission on August 14, 2014; and as unanimously approved for renewal by the California Coastal Commission on June 18, 2019.”

Signing this petition will help when the seasonal closure permit #6-14-0691-A1 comes up for renewal with the California Coastal Commission in 2029. The City of San Diego will request that the permit be renewed.
